About ⅓ cup of sauce

½ cup Sartori® Classic Parmesan, grated
1 (28 oz.) can Whole Tomatoes
¼ cup Olive Oil
6 Garlic Cloves, chopped
1 pinch Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
1 sprig Basil
In a large bowl, crush tomatoes with your hands. Add a cup of water into the can, swishing to pick up tomato juice, and pour into bowl. Set aside.
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic. Once sizzling but not yet browned, add the tomatoes and red pepper flakes. Season to taste. Add basil sprig with stem.
Simmer sauce until thickened (15-20 minutes). Remove basil and stir in parmesan. Serve with pasta of choice.
